Long after the reign of Firestar, the clans were forced to move yet again...
After settling in their new territory, life went on as usual. Patrols, the occasional border skirmish. The moons went by just like that, and lately, it's been peaceful. To peaceful, it seems. A dark shadow looms over the forest, and not even StarClan knows what's around the bend...

While the four clans of Thunder, River, Shadow and Wind have journeyed far fom their old homes, nothing seems to have changed. The old rivalries are retained, the friendships are strong, and the loyalties are as solid as you can imagine. They are having a good, warm leaf-bare, all things considered. But -and there is always a 'but'- new shadows have begun to flicker on the horizon, and this tangled web has woven a new thread. A thread so black that the frost melts from it and the fury of a thousand suns has no comparison to its strength.
