Other Appearances:
. k i t , Being a kit, Faithkit is small of stature, and it is quite hard to picture her as anything other. Her paws are too large for her, and her head even more so. With any luck, though, she will grow into them - just like every other kit in this world.Personality:
'Skin and bones' would probably be the first word you'd use to describe her. Too young to have developed even that defence against the cold, leaf-bare is going to be tough on this little one. Her blue eyes are always wide, so much the better to take in this new world, and their near-permanent round shape won't be grown out of any time soon. Her ears are under-developed, just small arches on the top of her head, which is wedge-shaped and slightly too large for her small frame. She seems to radiate indecision, when she's not being thoughtful, and this makes her an excellent target for bullying. Her eyes are constantly wide, she favours dark corners away from the other kits, and she's too small and shy to do much to defend herself. What more could the boisterous beater-upper want?
. k i t , Since she can first remember, Faithkit has always been the peacemaker. The sounds of fighting are like the grate of claws on ice to her ears: an irreparable cracking in the ice that only she seems to notice, heading towards the combatants and their certain doom. It's far worse for her to participate in an argument. She will agree to whatever she is being asked to do, if it'll just make them shut up and go away. But as she can't bear to see others hurt either, that's the only time she'll stand up for herself. A few hard knocks will probably persuade her otherwise, though: she's only a little kit. Such a soft little kitten doesn't stand up well to violence.History:
She has never been terribly big, either, so whenever challenged to a playfight -even on the few times when she is brave enough to agree to one- she is easily beaten. This leads her to want to fade into the background to escape from the taunts of the victor, and prefers to watch the goings-on among her siblings: at least she can depend on them.
While being too young understand 'StarClan', she is old enough to understand that good-bye is the hardest word. She loves both her parents dearly, and cannot understand why her father cannot stay with her mother: only that this is so. This often makes her -if this can be for a kit- quite philosophical (though it looks more like being perplexed, to be frank). Preferring solitude to energetic company, she doesn't have the strongest relationships with other kits, and depends on her mother and siblings for company. In fact, most of her time is spent around that noble parent, nestled into her side or generally getting under her paws. She loves stories, though, and will happily listen for hours on end to anything and everything. Once she discovers the elders' den, and the talkative warriors, you'll have a hard time keeping her inside. Being trusting, she'll believe everything she is told, regardless of her past experience with the teller. You can tell her the sky is green, and she'll just nod and look up at you with eyes wide... And when she looks up later on, her face will fall as she loses faith in her new-found hero.
Too young to have real 'grown-up' loyalties, it is impossible to expect anything much of Faithkit. She is loyal to her mother and father, her siblings, and anyone who'll spin her a good yarn. She has been out of the camp, but only to see her father for that last goodbye. As for meeting all of ShadowClan, well, she knows so few cats that she doesn't even understand the idea of the Clan she belongs to. Ask her who Canyonstar or Flyingfeather are, and she'll look at you wide-eyed, expecting a story about these new and exciting names.
. k i t , How much of her own history Faithkit knows is hard to comprehend, but she understands enough. Born to a beautiful ShadowClan warrior and a charming rogue, she doesn't have the cleanest heritage: especially since her mother happens to be a mix for four clans herself. Faithkit is the youngest of three; both shy and trusting, and spends her time tucked up in the queens' den.RP Example:
She has a good relationship with her siblings, Couragekit and Hopekit, but tends to keep out of most of their games -- as has been said, she prefers a good story to a game of rough-and-tumble. What is so special about beating your clanmates up is beyond her. She finds far more comfort in anything Compassionsong can tell her of her father than knocking about with Couragekit, or going head-to-head with Hopekit. As a matter of fact, she seldom thinks about becoming a warrior: far more interesting are the stories of this great cat she calls 'father', and the ancient heroes of ShadowClan.
