Sirius is a handsome tom of small size. Very small size. He's smaller then many of the apprentices, but yet bigger then most of the kits. His fur is long and fluffy, and typically very matted. There seems to be nothing wrong with him. Why then, is he always left out? Why does everyone make fun of him? Look closely at his right side. His front leg is missing. There isn't even a lump where it used to be, as it never was.
Sirius is a would-be friendly cat always ready to help out. But, he's quite shy and very wary around strangers. The only way to meet his nice side is to befriend him, which no one ever has. So to most, he's a snappy, short-tempered grouch.History:
Missing a leg is only a slight handicap, as he would tell you. But in truth, he struggles a lot. Running is next to impossible, and walking is only just. Fighting though, he's not to bad at. His missing leg is almost an advantage. How he makes it work he may never know, but in battle, his movements are swift and fluid, as if it was what he were born to do.
Hunting on the other hand, is a disaster area. He can chase a mouse for hours, his determination keeping him from quitting, and he won't get anywhere. The one and only kill he's ever made, was a sick vole lumbering across a river bank that any cat could have walked up to a killed on the spot.
Sirius's mother was a prized cat known as Laine, who was owned by a two-leg who very nearly worshiped her. When Laine escaped one day and came back expecting kits with a filthy rogue, her owner was devastated. She planned to make lots of money off of them though, and soon had a sign up in their yard offering kittens.RP Example:
When the four kittens were born, the rich two-leg adored them. All except for one. All except for the tiny runt, who was born with only three legs. She named the other Cain, Ciego, and Clara, and took Sirius down a few houses at left him on someones doorstep. They brought him in and bottle fed him for a week before dropping him at a shelter, where he was raised for the next moon. Then he was adopted, but never even entered the house. The moment they opened the car door at the house, he was gone. In his awkward run, he disappeared around a corner, never to be a kittypet.
In his first few moons on the street, it was all eating scraps from garbage cans and stay away from the bullies. He was mocked by everyone, not one would even consider speaking to him. He got into many a fight, and in some escaped just barely alive. But somehow he survived until he was 8 moons. Then, he ventured into the forest in search of a better place to live.
Ever since then, he's lived off of little. Food is only what he can find, survival is slim. He's grown insecure and jumpy, and is looking for some friends that can understand his differences.
