Well, I was thinking, and I had a few ideas about things we could add to the site.
1. StarClan and Dark Forest cats, or dead cats, should be able to be created. We would most likely need them for whatever plot we're doing, since there's probably going to be a prophecy. StarClan's the one that always tells the prophecy to the living, and not all cats who've died are good, so they would go to the Dark Forest. Star Clan cats would also be necessary for medicine cat meetings, since they are making the trip to meet with said ancestors.
2. I think we should get a new header. The one we have now...well it's really kind of plain, and doesn't give much information on what's going on other than the clan stats, and the moon phase thing looks as though it was just put there for the sake of putting it there. A lot of sites use side tables, so maybe we could use that, or a table like we used to have. A few things we could include in it would be:
-Welcome
-Updates
-Staff
-Plot/Prophecy
-Clan stats, like we have now
-Weather. Right now we only have the moon phases, but the season isn't too clear
-Of the Months. Member otm, Character otm, Couple otm, Thread otm, etc.
-Quick Links? Like to the rules, announcements, make a cat
-Copyright and credits
Those were just a few ideas I was tossing out there
3. An Archive board, for old threads, announcements, bios, etc. (Edit: If we already have one that's hidden to most people, maybe it should be viewable to everyone as references or to just read threads?) An affiliate board & table would also be nice. Also, I was thinking the Advertisement board could be somewhere other than the Webmaster's Area? A staff board seems like a more likely fit to be there.
Edit: 4. NPCs? They could be playable by anyone, unless the person who made them says otherwise. Basically they could just substitute for a character's liviig relatives, or a clan's elders, since not many people make elders. If a plot needed a lot of cats, they could just be space fillers and if need be, "casualties". This brings me to another idea, like modding threads. Say someone had a thread that no one was replying to, a staff/mod/senior member could post there as some random loner/rogue that could get it moving or maybe battle. I don't think many people will be willing to take this extra job along with whatever other job they manage, but I'm willing to mod if we do do such a thing.
