Hi there! You can call me Azu for short, my name's pretty difficult for some people to use consistently. ^^
Hello, I'm posting here as an inquiry for the general feel of this site. I've been browsing through your rules and the posts for a general personality of how this site is, and I really like what I see. ^^ Would anyone perhaps mind telling me the general activity level of the site/anything of extreme significance that has happened here that new member should know that can't be found in the rules? I may not join this site right now, as I am a little busy, but I would like to begin following it a little when possible and join at my next opportunity.
---
I have never done Warrior roleplaying, but after reading the books it intrigues me. I've had a cat that I've wanted to make for a while now, and I've decided her personality and appearance. As for whether she is a warrior, kit, medicine cat, loner, or whatever else may be possible, I haven't really decided. I also haven't decided on her name, which makes her open for just about anything. ^^;
I see there is a restriction for Wind and Thunder clans, and I also see that there are distinct rules for becoming medicine cats, leaders, and deputies. They only thing I can't see her being is high leadership or rogue. I have no objections with making her young or old, so if you need kits or warriors, I'm certainly willing.
Could I get a suggestion or two as to what clan (if any) she should join and what she might be?

Hey, Azu :) Pleasure to meet you! I like to think that our role-plays are fairly easy to slip into, no matter how familiar you are with what's been going on here, but at the moment, there's actually nothing much to tell :). You may have noted that we've recently reopened, so the only active members are either ones who've been around during the old site -hence post counts with no posts to back them up ;)- or new members. All in all, though, most people seem to get on a minimum of four times a week, but that's not a requirement. I guess we just have no lives... Just kidding. We're open to pretty much all levels of activity or literacy, so you're welcome to post as short or long, or as often or as little as you can :). I think I can safely speak for everyone when I say we would really love to see you join us :)
OK, that was a paragraph in which I managed to tell you absolutely nothing that you wanted to know XD. Sorry, I'll get to it.
As I've said, the site's recently reopened, so really there's no background information yet, and our current plot isn't going to be underway until we have more cats. (You've probably read it, but here's the link, just in case.) As to her rank and Clan -or lack of one-, well, that's really up to you :) Can you give us a brief description of her personality? That might help when deciding a Clan. If I'm not mistaken, (though I think I am) RiverClan and ShadowClan both have equal numbers of she-cats, so there's no making a decision based on necessity. I think at the moment, though, we're trying to fill the Clans in preparation for the sacrificing. Apprentice or warrior, perhaps?
Cheese has just posted a bio for a [ur=http://fastheart.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=bios&action=display&thread=4471&page=1]mother with three kits
-Couragekit, Hopekit and Faithkit of ShadowClan- so if you don't mind a pre-made name and Clan, that might be for you. I think Fury of the Tempest was starting a sub-plot with his one of his warriors and a loner, Lightfight and Tempestfury. They were going to form a sort of counter-rebellion to the sacrifices, so your cat could have the best of both worlds by joining a Clan and then leaving it during the plot, if that's more to her personality. Whichever you think might suit her best, we'll all be happy to help :)[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Hey, Azu 8) It's me, Gimmick, from SS. We're pretty active--in my opinion. People get on everyday, some a bit less often than others, but most of us come on frequently. And are veterans. As for significant changes...there hasn't really been much, although there is an ongoing contest, which you can check out here. But yeah, most of the site updates are posted in the Announcements board. Basically, all the really big major things can be found in the links in the header. As for your character, I guess it really depends on the personality you have, or any ideas for history. Aside from the site wide plot that's happening soon(just new some more members), mini-plots are welcome, so feel free to start scheming xD. As you already said, since there's a temporary ban on ThunderClan cats and WindClan she-cats, so that only leaves two. I personally don't have any RiverClan cats, and if you decide to put her in Shadow, I see a good RP opportunity :b. Anyways, you could always put her in whichever group you think best suits her personality. Sneaky, cunning, fierce, battle-hungry...I'd say that's more ShadowClan. Swimming, silvery/gray/bluish fur would most likely go in RiverClan. For her rank, I would suggest either an apprentice or a warrior, since this is your first time RPing on a Warriors site, and they usually have the most RP opportunities(in my opinion), since they can do more of the basic things and can go anywhere on their territory. (Ex. hunting, battle practice, patrols). Hope you can join!

Thanks so much for your quick replies, guys. ;P Ms. Fallen, I always enjoy the impression the members themselves have of the site, so your first paragraph was quite informative, actually. ^^
Hm. Well, I think I can say pretty assuredly that I'm leaning toward River Clan at this point (she kind of was designed to be the color of a piece of driftwood...), which is better than being a rogue, I suppose. And participating in that plot does sound like it will be fun, too. >w< I read that and stared at for a couple moments with an expression similar to one when your jaw drops. It's really original and a unique idea.
I'll have to ask Fury of the Tempest if I can join, then. ^^ That sounds perfect.
I have one rather...er...strange question, perhaps. ...Where is the base application template? I've searched and searched but never found it...

For the bio, it's built-in. ^^ Just make a new thread, and you'll see it.

Sorry for taking so long to respond...
But of course your cat can join the rebellion against the sacrfices! In fact, any cat is welcome!
