Here are the positions for those who aren't to familiar with them:
Leader:
They are the leader of the clan. They get 9 lives from StarClan, and are choosen to lead the clan. They receive messages from StarClan, and help interpret prophecies. They are usually close to the medicine cat and their deputy. No matter what, you will always have your lives. But you can lose them. But even if you quit a clan with 5 lives, you still have those 5 left.
Deputy:
These are the 2nd leaders of the clans. They only have one life. They are usually close to their leaders. If their leader dies, retires, ect., the deputy takes the leaders spot. The leader needs to choose a new deputy if the current one is not able to serve the clan for any reason (death, banishment, retirement, ect.), before moon high. (Midnight). As you have read in the warrior code.
Medicine Cat:
This cat is gifted by StarClan. They have a strong bond with them, and their leaders. The medicine cats hold the knowledge to heal using herbs, interpret messages from StarClan, and more! They get to have apprentices. They train them to be a medicine cat. They travel to the medicine cat meeting place every half moon.
Medicine Cat Apprentice:
This cat is the apprentice of the medicine cat. A medicine cat in training pretty much. They are guided by their mentor, the knowledge of herbs and other medicine cat's duties. They are usually chosen because they have a disability that makes it so they can't be a proper warrior, or if he or she has a special gift from StarClan.
Warriors:
When an apprentice is done with training, they become a warrior. Warriors are pretty much the heart and soul of the clan. They hunt, defend the clan, and more. They keep the clan alive and running. Warriors train apprentices also so they can be the future warriors of the clan.
Apprentices:
Once a kit is 6 moons old, they become an apprentice. They have a ceremony where they get a mentor. They practice hunting, fighting, and lots of other essential skills needed to be a warrior.
Queens:
I know a lot of you think that these are the second in power cat the first time you read through the characters in the books. That is what I thought the first time also. But I quickly learned that they are mothers, either nursing kits, or expecting them. They are queens until their kits have became 6 moons old, started training and left the nursery.
Elders:
Elders are senior warriors, deputies, ect., that have became too old to serve the clan properly. But they are honored for their long service. Kits and young apprentices love to listen to their stories. They can be sharped tongued around older cats though. They also like to lay in the sun and gossip about old times in the clan.
Kits:
Any cat in the clan that is younger than 6 moons old. They are taken care of by their mother and usually get in trouble.
--- Non Clan Cats:
Loners:
These are cats who live on their own, sometimes with another cat. They are usually neutral with the clan cats. Not disturbing them and keeping to themselves.
Rouges:
Rouges are usually tough cats that like to mess with clans and other cats. defiantly those of weaker power than themselves. Usually cold hearted and ruthless.
Kittypets:
Soft kittypets owned by twolegs. Which are called humans by us but twolegs by cats.
